1936年（昭和11年）2月26日から2月29日に
軍部の派閥争いのなか天皇を中心とした社会をつくるべしという
皇道派の青年将校１４８３名が昭和維新を掲げて断行したクーデターである
貧しい子弟が多かったのが皇道派である
しかし統制派との派閥争いでは敗れてしまった
軍によって国家をつくることはできない
結局その後の歴史でわかるように
軍部の台頭を許し、暴走して戦争を引きおこし、国民の苦しみを過重させた
暴力では何も価値的なものは生まれない
対話でしか生まれないのである
２月２６日 青年将校は不軽（ふきょう）の対話でしか平和は得られないことを
知るべきであった
それが精神高き教育である
